Pray for the world as a family

I am excited to tell you about a new book that will be officially released on 1 July, but it will be available for you at GOfest at the end of June. 40 Days 40 Bites has been put together by Trudi Parkes, and published by Christian Focus. It has 40 countries, people groups or other larger groups that you can pray for, one day at a time, for 40 days. It's a successor to Window on the World, but it is a much smaller book in format, and its content is up to date. I have seen the content, although I have not yet seen the typeset version, but those who have say it is really nice. If you don't have school age children at home, give a copy to a family that does. It is priced at £4.99, but we do offer a 35% discount for multiple copies, and don't forget that postage is free within the UK.

Meanwhile, I can tell you that Unbelievable, Graham Bee's memoir self-published in Australia, is making waves over there. I don't yet know how or when we will get copies here, but for those interested in WEC work in West Africa and Australia this is one to look out for.

And finally, here is a link to an article written last autumn that I have just found on the Eden blog about God's Needle, the story of Lily Gaynor.
